Stockstock Film Festival Semifinalist

This year I got involved in a super fun film festival called Stockstock. The basic premis is that a bunch of rights free archive footage is distributed to the entrants and then each entrant takes that footage and edits it to make a short filme (2 min or less).

My film is called “One Day”.
I was very suprised at the quality of shorts that came out of this contest and very honored to be considered as a semifinalist. Next year I’m really going to try to knock it out of the park!

There is a cool Film Festival Event taking place March 9th, in Seattle. I’m looking forward to meeting my fellow film makers.

For those of you that don’t already know. My wife Andrea and I are expecting our first child. I’ve started a Baby Blog to help friends and family that don’t live near us keep up to day with the latest baby news.

Check out the baby blog and leave a comment.

So I’ve been doing a lot of work with Live Spaces, a new online community site, and while working with it I found a cool feature: Live Maps

Unfortunaly this only works correctly on a PC (what a suprise) but when it does work it’s pretty sweet. Here is a picture I got from the site of the Space Needle from space!

Pretty cool huh? I thought so.
